Cybex Service Manual

1. Place the assembly into the primary belt and slide the alignment pins into the holes on the

frame. You may need to tap the pins in with a hammer so they are ush with the top of the

pillow blocks.

Description

6 HHCS torque to 30 lbs-ft minimum

7 Primary belt

9 Pulley and crank shaft assembly

2. Secure the two bolts, four at washers and two nuts to each pillow block using a 9/16” socket

wrench and a 9/16” open end wrench.

Install lower pivot shaft

Tighten one HHCS a few turns then tighten the other HHCS a few turns using a 7/16” or 1/2” socket

wrench. Alternate until both HHCS are secure.

Alignment of belts and pulleys

Verify that both pulleys are aligned properly using a straight edge. The straight edge must be no more

than 1/16” from pulley edge.
